unemployed boyfriend! Candee lost another 2 pounds! But the overall, amazing, incredible, super-duper, unanimous, undisputed Weight Loss Champion of the unified Weekly Weight Loss title is none other than ANGELFISH (PATTY)!!! In spite of heart-breaking personal loss of her closest friend, Dawn, Patty soldiered on and did not crack. Patty could have turned to food in her time of emotional suffering, but she turned on the extra power on and then lost more weight than she ever has in one week!! Patty's sorrow became increased determination. I cannot adequately put this into words. Please visit Patty's blog and read her first hand account and give her some love and support. The loss of a best friend is like the loss of a brother or sister. Aboves is a photo of Patty competing at a triathlon a few weeks ago. Patty is one of the earliest visitors to my blog and has supported me for a long time, even when some folks think that I am being mean, exploiting fat people, or otherwise crossing the line. Patty is a true friend, and I hope you will all visit her and say hello! Congratulations Patty for hitting your most successful weight loss when it was probably the toughest thing to do. I like the German beer hall waitress. Uh, so long as it's light beer she's serving.
On the weight loss front, a co-worker in our building underwent that gastric bypass and is now in the hospital with serious complications. So serious she reportedly had a brush with death and is now hooked up to a vital signs monitor.
There's no easy way to lose weight, but we've got to keep trying. Kudos to your weight loss winners there.

Yes that is a picture of me before I blimped out. In other words, it is an OLD picture of me. Hopefully when I get back to 217 I will at least look like a shadow of my former self!

Thanks Spider for your kind words and naming me the wt loss winner of the week. Sadly, this week wasn't a reflection of last week. The sickness/flu must of really just made my water wt come off and so easy come, easy go as they say. I will never give up though!! And good for you of posting a picture even if it is an old one. I think I saw this pic long ago when I first saw your blog and nice to see a face with a name. But, don't be afraid to post the pic of you now at your current weight. Ok? Or at least keep them for yourself and have the comparison photos of you at your start (heaviest) and along the way as you lost weight and as wou will continue to lose more. I think it helps to see the progress. It does for me anyway.
